Mid nineteenth century life-sized plaster cast of a young Marie Clotilde of France originating from the Château de Versailles archive. She is wearing her hair in the high hairstyle popular in the mid-1700s featuring ringlets, feathers and ribbons. Her oldest brother became King Louis XVI of France and her sister in law was Queen Marie Antoinette. Her chest bears the sample number 818 of the cast. Stands 86cm high and 45cm wide.
