The latest window at M.Goldstein is causing a stir on the Hackney Road. The combination of a 1950s top hat, a 1930s African tribal stool, an exotic plume mounted in the top half of a human skull that can only have been used for some kind of ceremonial purpose has the Eastend mesmerised.

Our regular customers will have noticed the neon light installations that are featured in the shop interior. Nathaniel has been obsessed with signage and specialist industrial materials for years and this led to him creating these modernist beacons out of light. After completing a number of corporate and private commissions we thought it was time to feature them on our home page. Let there be light…and there was!
If you’ve passed by when we’re closed, been intrigued from the top of a double-decker bus or don’t live in London, this is how we look this week…
