Former RAF museum pieces, this pair of light aircraft seats were produced by Avro in WW2.
Designed within the constraints imposed by the small space available in the light aircraft and of materials which had to be lightweight whilst offering the maximum in comfort, taken out of context, all of these factors contribute to an unconventional pair of chairs.
